Welcome to Headstrong

I am a new to Headstrong. I only discovered I am dyslexic when I had grown up. It came as a shock to me. I have come to accept it. It’s finally made sense to me now and I used to wonder throughout my school years why I always felt different.

My parents are not interested in my dyslexia, they have never heard of it. Since I am grown up, they don’t really think it’s important whatever this dyslexia thing is. It’s just as well I was never diagnosed when I was younger because I think they would have taken a very negative attitude about it and I would have turned out even worse. It’s better that I discover it myself now when I am grown up so I can take care of myself and learn all I can about dyslexia. I also want to help others who have dyslexia.

I am really glad I am dyslexic now.
