my son has ADHD 10 Replies
My son is not doing well in high school.
He is also in trouble with the law.
Can you suggest anything that I can do to help him?
He has a resource class in school but he’s not doing well.
He always cuts class.
I can’t get through to him regarding his behavior.
I hope someone out there has dealt with a similar problem.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Is there something your son is good at or loves doing? Kids with ADHD need an outlet. My son, who is younger, plays Soccer 2 to 3 hours a day. It really keeps him focused at school. We also watch his diet. Very high protein in the morning and crabs at night. We avoid artificial colors and flavors when ever possible. I know it maybe hard with a kid in high school, but you need to try everything you can. Try and stay positive with him and focus on his strengths. Find a local ADHD coach. They can really help. Best of lucky. It’s a tough road, but you can get him through. I know because my parents did it for me.
