Headstrong Nation’s mission is to form a community of dyslexics. We seek to end the medical model of dyslexia, and the consequent shame and stigma, and replace it with strength-based models that lead to pride in our identity.

We have earned high school diplomas and college degrees, MBAs and PhDs. We own companies, run non-profits, make movies and publish books. Some of us have won Grammies, Oscars and Nobel prizes.

We think of ourselves as all coming from the family of nation states – the nations of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and ADHD to name a few. We travel here in the mainstream as proud immigrants who learn to adapt and thrive.
